7:24 AM

I should be climbing out of bed and getting ready by now but I had such a restless sleep the night before that I decided to lie in bed for a few more minutes. Besides, my bed felt so comfy I didn’t have the power to leave.

7:40 AM

I am finally prepared to leave my bed and start getting ready for school. I get dressed, brushed my teeth, grabbed my backpack and headed for the car. Outside the weather was gloomy and cold.

Great,” I thought to myself, “the rain is gone but the cold is still here.”

8:02 AM

As I enter the freeway, I look down at my iPod to examine how much time I had left to get to school.

“Right on schedule.” I announced with a satisfied smile on my face.

“But wait,” I did an immediate double-take at the iPod. “8:02 AM?! Oh my god, seriously?” I said to myself.

I feel like a complete moron - my class doesn’t start until 9:30 AM.

Outside the sky had cleared up and the sun had came out.
